Baby care for the first 1,000 days

The first 1,000 days are an important period for your baby's development and also for their skin. The skin barrier strengthens, the skin microbiome develops, and the immune system learns to cope with the world around us. That's why the skin barrier and natural skin microbiome are a key starting point for Qeroha™.

Why squalane and meadowfoam?

In all our formulas, we deliberately use plant-based squalane. Squalane is a lipid that the skin naturally recognizes and is also found in the lipids of the vernix, the white protective layer with which a baby is born. It helps nourish the skin and retain moisture, which aligns well with our approach to young, sensitive skin.

Additionally, we use meadowfoam seed oil, a plant-based oil with exceptional stability. This stability helps keep a formula carefully and reliably consistent, while the oil gently cares for the skin.

For Qeroha™, it's not about using as many ingredients as possible, but about making conscious choices based on skin biology, safety, and formulation stability.

Our bundles combine the three Qeroha™ essentials Balm, Bathing Oil, and Baby Oil, in different duos and as a complete set. All formulas are dermatologically tested on sensitive skin and certified microbiome-friendly.
